Who Are We?
The OU neighborhood is a small subdivision across the street from Oakland University. Residents are OU employees, from all across the university. The neighborhood has been part of the university for most of its history.
About 40 families live in the subdivision, in single family homes built in the 1960s and 1970s. We have young families with children, empty nesters, retired couples, and singles. We have a mix of races and national origins. The neighborhood is as diverse as the university.
